Privacy policy
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 31, 2026
Who we are
Tyayoku Studios, LLC ("Tyayoku Studios," "we," "us") is a Kentucky limited liability company at 6407 Bardstown Rd #276, Louisville, KY 40291. This policy covers tyayokustudios.com and our creator portal at creators.tyayokustudios.com (together, the "Services"). Creators must agree to this policy before connecting a YouTube channel.
We use YouTube API Services. When a creator connects a channel, the Services use YouTube API Services to read that channel's data. By connecting, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Creators who work with us also sign our Creator Data Opt-In Agreement. That agreement and this policy describe the same practices.
What we collect
From YouTube, with the creator's permission. We request only two read-only Google permissions:
| GOOGLE PERMISSION (SCOPE) | WHAT WE ACCESS |
|---|---|
youtube.readonly | The channel's YouTube account information, such as channel name, ID, and public video details |
yt-analytics.readonly | The channel's YouTube Analytics reports, such as views, watch time, engagement, live viewers, and aggregate audience breakdowns |
We do not request revenue or ad-performance data. We do not request permission to upload, edit, delete, or comment. We never ask for or store your Google or YouTube password. YouTube Analytics does not give us the identity of individual viewers, and we do not try to obtain it.
From creators directly. Name, email, mailing address, show name, and channel URL, which you give us when signing up or signing the opt-in agreement. Anyone who uses a contact form on our websites, including investors, sponsors, and prospective creators, gives us their name, organization, email address, topic, and message, which we use only to respond and follow up on that inquiry.
From website visitors. We measure how visitors use our websites with two privacy-focused tools. Neither sets cookies, and we do not use them to identify you. Grain Analytics, in its default cookieless mode, records page views, clicks, scroll depth, heatmaps, and session activity using identifiers that rotate daily; Grain stores this data in EU data centers. Cloudflare Web Analytics records page paths and page-load performance without cookies or browser storage, and does not store your IP address. Cloudflare, which hosts our sites, also processes standard request information such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the sites from attacks. Videos on our websites are hosted by Gumlet, whose player analytics do not use cookies; Gumlet measures playback, such as views, watch time, and playback errors, along with device, browser, and approximate (country and city) location.
How we use and share it
Use. We use a creator's YouTube data only to:
- show that creator its own channel data in the portal;
- recommend ways to improve the show;
- track how the show's audience responds to topics, formats, and schedules;
- evaluate and qualify the show for sponsorships the creator may opt in to; and
- prepare reports for that show's sponsors, as described below.
Your data stays yours. Each creator sees only its own channel's data. We never show one show's YouTube data to another show or creator. We do not combine YouTube data across channels owned by different creators, and we do not build rankings or leaderboards from it. We do not merge YouTube data with data from other platforms.
Who sees it.
- Tyayoku Studios staff. Managers and directors whose work requires it.
- Sponsors of your show. Creators who sign our opt-in agreement approve sharing reports of their own show's data with sponsors, advertisers, and underwriters we pitch or sell on that show. Sponsors receive a report or view-only page, never access to your channel or account. Sponsor reports never include revenue, other shows' data, or information about individual viewers. Sponsors must agree to keep reports confidential and use them only for sponsoring your show. You can withdraw this approval, exclude a sponsor, or require your approval before each report at any time. Under the opt-in agreement, doing so ends your show's future sponsorship revenue share as of that date, while verified sponsorship revenue already due is still paid.
- Service providers. Companies that host and run the Services for us, such as Cloudflare, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Legal reasons. When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your data.
Storage, security, and retention
We protect YouTube data and Google access tokens with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, and limit access to authorized staff. We keep YouTube data only as long as the YouTube API Services policies allow. We reconfirm each creator's authorization at least every 30 days and delete or refresh stored data as those policies require. We notify affected creators without undue delay if we learn of unauthorized access to their data.
Your choices
Revoke access anytime. In addition to our own deletion process, you can revoke our access to your YouTube data through Google's security settings page. You can also email us to revoke. Under the Creator Data Opt-In Agreement, revoking access ends your show's future sponsorship revenue share as of the date you revoke. Verified sponsorship revenue already due is paid within 60 days, and other revenue is not affected.
Deletion. Within 30 days after you revoke access or ask us to delete your data, we delete your YouTube data and access tokens, stop sponsor reporting for your show, ask sponsors who received reports to delete them, and confirm in writing.
Questions or complaints. Contact us about our privacy practices at privacy@tyayokustudios.com or by mail at Tyayoku Studios, LLC, 6407 Bardstown Rd #276, Louisville, KY 40291.
Children
The creator portal is for creators 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes here with a new effective date, and notify connected creators by email at least 30 days before a material change. We will not use YouTube data in new ways without the creator's new consent.
